FineEQ is a free equalizer for Windows 10 and 11 that changes every sound on your computer at once: music, films, games and calls. It has a 10-band EQ, a 31-band detailed EQ and 154 presets in the app, in Thai and English, with no ads.
Open FineEQ, click "Add presets" and pick the PUBG preset, or the "Shooters" tone for your headphone model. The preset cuts the boom of explosions and vehicles that buries footsteps, and the loudness control lifts quiet sounds such as footsteps while holding gunfire and explosions down so they never hurt. Loudness control is a Premium feature with a 3-day free trial.
It works with every game and program, because FineEQ changes the sound in Windows itself and never reads or changes a game’s files or memory. The app has presets for tactical shooters (Valorant, CS2), battle royales (Apex, Fortnite, Warzone), MOBAs (Arena of Valor, LoL, Dota 2), horror games and more. Rules on extra software belong to each game, so check the policy of the games you play.
It works with any headphones or speakers on Windows, and has corrections from real measurements (AutoEq) for 20 models with 6 tones each: HyperX Cloud II, HyperX Cloud III, HyperX Cloud Alpha, Logitech G Pro X, Razer BlackShark V2 Pro, Razer Kraken V3, Razer Kraken V3 Pro, SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro, Sennheiser HD 560S, Sennheiser HD 600, Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro, Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro, Audio-Technica ATH-M50x, Philips SHP9500, Moondrop Chu, Moondrop Aria, 7Hz Salnotes Zero, Truthear x Crinacle Zero, KZ ZSN Pro X, Simgot EW200. Pick your model in the "Add presets" window.
Pick the "Bass boost", "Bass and treble" or "Vocals forward" preset, or drag the 10 sliders yourself and save it as your own preset. The whole PC’s sound changes at once.
FineEQ uses Equalizer APO (open source) as its audio engine and installs it for you, so there are no config files to edit. On top it adds a simple Thai and English interface, presets, per-device sound, shortcuts and Peak Protection. If Equalizer APO is already on your PC, FineEQ uses it.
The EQ, presets, per-device sound and shortcuts are free with no time limit. Premium costs $2.99 (or 99 Thai baht) once and adds loudness control and automatic Peak Protection. Every PC gets a 3-day free Premium trial first.
Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit, with any headphones, speakers or sound card Windows can see. One installer, audio engine included.
